Praise Reports
Psalm 95
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; 7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the clock under his care.
Psalm 100
1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good.
“Shout to the Lord! Lift up your voices in thanksgiving and praise, for we are God’s chosen people, his love endures forever”! These are powerful and inspiring words given to us by the psalmist. When we gather to worship and praise God, emotions are touched, and “hearts strangely warmed’, as John Wesley put it 250 years ago.
An important part of our praise experience is expressing our gratitude to God for His great mercy toward us. As Christians, we are called to live a thankful life. We are to lift our voices and proclaim what God has done for us. We are to come into his presence with singing, to give thanks to Him and bless His name.
