The Fine Arts Series of LUMC is dedicated to bringing the finest performers from the region to our Littleton community.  *Please note:  In lieu of our annual Messiah Sing Along, this year the FAS will be sponsoring a Messiah worship service on Dec. 8.

Since 1995, Pastiche Chamber Ensemble has blended an array of styles, ranging from the Baroque to works by Pulitzer Prize winning composers, to create their own distinctive sound. The four virtuoso artists who make up this whimsical quartet will perform their "greatest hits" –- everything from hymns to Broadway to pop influenced compositions, as well as 21st Century romanticism. Free Admission.
Young Musicians Foundation

The Young Musicians Foundation of Colorado seeks out and sponsors the most promising young performers in our region, sending them to the greatest music schools in the country. This special concert will feature some of their most recent scholarship winners.  Come and hear the virtuoso soloists of tomorrow.   Free Admission.
Isaiah’s Messiah
8:30 & 11 a.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013
Two morning worship services will feature favorite movements from the renowned masterpiece, along with other seasonal works by GF Handel.   Joining the Chancel Choir and soloists will be some of the finest musicians in the area -- the Colorado Chamber Orchestra. Come experience this unique Advent service through the prophecy of Isaiah and the music of Handel.
David Korevaar

Fine Arts Series favorite, pianist David Korevaar returns to Littleton to perform a concert entitled “Music of Space and Time”. Professor of Piano at C.U. Boulder, Dr. Korevaar will perform a group of masterpieces by Gabriel Faure and Franz Schubert’s monumental A Major Sonata.   Free Admission.
Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass
7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014
The moving spiritual work by the gifted young Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo will be the centerpiece of this Evensong Service. Joining the Chancel Choir and Colorado Chamber Orchestra will be the outstanding chamber choir from the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University Singers. This will be the local premiere of Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass.
LUMC Arts Festival
Friday, April 25 – Sunday, April 27
The 21st annual LUMC Art Show will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening before a 7:00 p.m. performance of a play by the LUMC Encore Players. The art show will be open during Saturday performances as well. On Sunday, the show will be open throughout the morning and then during a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance.
