We welcome and support all individuals, all families, and all seasons of life, and believe in the paramount teachings of Christ that all persons and situations are beloved.

Signposts: How Echoes of God’s Voice Find their Way into Faith

Faith. Life. Together.

These three words have for years described the LUMC journey. Yet combining them suggests that somewhere out there in the world they are viewed differently. As not naturally connecting, perhaps. It’s not new, by any stretch, to say that the Christian faith doesn’t come naturally, anymore…if it ever did. These days, people make a conscious decision to join up with a church family. So why would they? What might lead someone–you, for that matter–to investigate what’s going on at LUMC or any place of worship?

This new sermon series will engage around four particular ways all of us tend to have an inkling that there is something larger than ourselves at work in the world. Then we’ll make some connections with how those inklings become articulated as faith.

April 12th: The Quest for Spirituality
April 19th: Longing for Justice
April 26th: Delight in Beauty
May 3rd: Hunger for Relationships

This may be helpful for you or for others in your life who wonder how church fits into your faith journey. Either way, we look forward to exploring with you!

Reverend Chris Carr, Senior Pastor

"Living into and out of God’s abundant, overflowing grace—in which we all soak whether we realize it yet or not—is in our DNA as United Methodists. I feel blessed to participate in the work of Littleton UMC, with its track record of embodying the good news of Jesus Christ in the local community and beyond."
